Asakura Noriten was founded in Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku in 1941, and is the primary wholesaler that directly purchases seaweed from the Seto Inland Sea, Kyushu, and the Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives in each prefecture in Miyagi Prefecture. Currently, it moved to the location of Magome in Ota-ku and started operations, and Noriten Asakura celebrated its 70th anniversary in December 2010, and in 2013 established factories in China and Korea as an expanded sales base for laver. We are deeply grateful to you that we have been able to make such progress entirely because of your caring for us.

Taking advantage of the strengths of primary wholesalers who purchase raw materials directly from the associations of fisheries cooperatives in various prefectures in Japan, we are working on a daily basis with the motto of “We will put more seaweed on the table at a lower price than now”.
